Yesterday i just went for Office Communication Server 2007 workshop. we do some labs to configure this server. Actually OCS 2007 is a telephony/Unified Messaging application. It is agood application but for me i think Microsoft is yet ready for this telephony application. From the workshop i learn that Microsoft run an "enhanced SIP",not an RFC SIP just like other vendor. so,when integrating with Cisco or other unapproved vendor there will be some problem. So far Microsoft only approved three vendors. One of it is Dialogic. The trainer also,i think not well prepared to teach us about OCS. There are some failure when installing and we are not doing labs for the telephony parts. that is the bad thing. The good thing is they give me free Microsoft t-shirt OCS 2007.
